Auburn's Chili and Chowder Festival

AUBURN, Mass. - Auburn Recreation and Culture and the Auburn Recreation Organization would like to invite you to enter your favorite homemade chili or chowder in the fourth annual "Chili and Chowder Fest".

This year, the event invites businesses in addition to residents to showcase their favorite recipes.

There is no registration fee for competitors and six awards will be presented including Professional Chili, Professional Chowder, Amateur Chili, Amateur Chowder, People's Choice Chili, People's Choice Chowder. The professional and amateur awards will be selected by a panel of judges and the people's choice will be selected by the attendees ballot vote.

The Chili Chowder Competition will be held at Pakachoag Church, 203 Pakachoag St. on Sunday, March 18 from 1 to 4 p.m. Attendees $5 advance; $7 at the door; 6 and under free; $20 max per family.
