Tara Johnson
tjohnson@mainstreetconnect.usTara Johnson, reporter for The Daily Auburn grew up in Central Massachusetts. She was intern for Time Inc. in New York City and a daily reporter for the Portsmouth Herald, a New Hampshire Seacoast community newspaper. In 2008, she moved to Florence, Italy to study abroad. During this time, she had the opportunity to hike through the Italian Riviera, bike the streets of Barcelona, eat French pastry in Paris and sleep on a houseboat in Amsterdam.
In May of 2009, she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in English Journalism and a minor in Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire. She is thrilled to be a member of MainStreetConnect Team. You can reach her at tjohnson@mainstreetconnect.us
Local Hero
She has been volunteering at the Millbury Senior Center for over 26 years. At 96 still teaches yoga.
